Betty J. Stewart, 84 of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Greenwood, NE, entered into rest Monday, January 6, 2014 at Tabitha Health Care in Lincoln, NE. Betty was born May 31, 1929 in Lincoln, NE to Raymond and Sarah (Rexstrew) Anthony. On August 2, 1960, Betty was united in marriage to Ivan Stewart in Lincoln. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and spending time with grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Stewart; daughter, Karen Ackley; granddaughters, Ruth, Karen, and Dana; parents, Raymond and Sarah Anthony; brothers, Virgil Anthony and LeRoy Anthony; sisters, Winona Wilber, Bernice Drieger, and Roberta Makovicka.
She is survived by son, Tim (Loretta) Thimgan of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kevin (Trudi) Thornburg, DeLori (Charles) Arkfeld, Kimberly (Lonnie) Petrzilka, Star (Dan) Lawhon, and Avery Beal; great-grandchildren, DeManda, MeLinda, Jacob, Kortney, Dyana, Donald, Megan, Kristi, and Milo; 8 great great-grandchildren; cousin, Alice Hildebrand; numerous members of the Stewart family.
