Clarence Fujan, 78 of rural Colon, NE died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Fremont Area Medical Center. He was born June 7, 1936 on a farm near Weston, NE to Rudy and Blanche (Dvorak) Fujan. Clarence attended District 68 and 70 country schools.

He worked at Valmont for over 30 years as a welder until his retirement. Fifty years ago Clarence bought an acreage near Colon, that he loved very much, and this is where he lived for the rest of his life. He used his many skills and his ability to fix anything. He also enjoyed spending a majority of his time remodeling his home and buildings.

He is survived by children, Theresa (Stan) Graves of Wahoo, Corrina Duckworth of Wahoo, and Jessie Fujan of Colon; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Dustin, Tyler, Amanda, Clarence, Cameron, Dillon, Faith, and Sierra; 8 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Willow, R.J., Brett, Kailyn, William, Bryson, and Avery; sisters, Marjorie (Ernest) Zetocha, Orletha (Emory) Aldrich, Betty Wesley, Mariann (James) Coffee, and Linda (Bill) Jurgens; brother, Louis (Darlene) Kavan.

He was preceded in death by parents, Rudy Fujan and Blanche Lostroh; brother, Donald Fujan; sisters, Artence Jensen, Doris Smith, Nadine Maxson, and Lorraine Carroll.

    Clarence went to District #70 when we did. I am out of the area, or I would have reached out to you sooner. My heart goes out to you all. He was an ok guy! Love connects hearts forever.
