Dewey W. Moore, 74 of Lincoln, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Monarch Hospice in Lincoln. Dewey was born in Omaha, NE on February 11, 1939 to William D. and Blanche (Rueter) Moore.
Dewey was employed at the Powell Grain Co. in Ashland for 2 years, later working for the ACSC Government at bin sites for 10 years receiving grain and repairing equipment and buildings when needed. Dewey was employed with the City of Ashland for 12 years as a street Department worker and for 4 years he was an assistant at the House of Hope Auditorium in Lincoln, preparing the building and keeping it maintained.
Dewey loved to work on the farm and was loyal, hardworking and easily trainable for all the jobs he accomplished over the years. His hobbies included walking, fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling.
