Ermon “Mike” Meisinger Jr. 84 of Omaha, NE passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at his home in Omaha.  He was born June 11, 1934 in Omaha to Ermon Sr. and Myrtle (Dill) Meisinger. Mike graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, NE before serving his country in the U.S. Army, entering April 29, 1957 and he was honorably discharged on April 22, 1959.  He was united in marriage to Fay Kasada on September 1, 1962 in Jackson, MN.  He worked for Safeway Dairy in Omaha for many years. He was a past member of the American Legion in Papillion, NE.

Mike was an avid Husker football fan, who enjoyed watching sports, camping, fishing, playing cards, BINGO, bowling, traveling and most of all he loved his family and pet cat, Toughy and dog, Muffin.

Mike is survived by his children, Edward (Sharon) Kasada of Omaha, Connie (J.R.) Smith of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Janice Kasada of Omaha; brother, Ron (Rosie) Meisinger of Sugarland, TX; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friend, Toni Eads.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ermon Sr. and Myrtle Meisinger; wife, Fay Meisinger; son, John “Jack” Kasada; sister, Shirley (Jim) Wright.
