Evelyn Rieckman, 89 of Murdock, NE passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, NE.  She was born March 28, 1930 in Murdock, NE to Ferdinand and Edna (Miller) Rieckman.  She graduated from Murdock High School in 1948.  Evelyn retired as an Administrator Assistant with Norden Laboratories in Lincoln.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Murdock.  She enjoyed singing at the church, crocheting, painting, listening to music, ballroom dancing, making wine, watching baseball, traveling and attending her great-nephews activities.

Evelyn is survived by her nieces, Cheryl Dill-Patterson of Murdock, Deb (Daryl) Erickson of Ashland; great-nephews, Shawn and Timothy Dill; great-nieces, Kristin (Donnie) Laughlin, Dana (Ben) Anderson; numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Edna Rieckman; sister, Darleen Herman; brother, Verle Rieckman; great-nephew, George Dill, Jr.
