Gary L. Siemers, 72, formerly of Lincoln, NE, died on January 17, 2016, at the Gretna Community Living Center in Gretna, NE. Gary was born on February 11, 1943 to Clarence and Bernice (Wells) Siemers in Culver City, CA. He was raised and received his education in Lincoln. During his life, Gary worked for Staufer Chemical in Omaha, NE, maintenance for the Lincoln Public Schools, and various construction jobs. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Our special thoughts and prayers and love are with you, Darren and family. We appreciate all you have done for your Dad!
He was always proud of you and spoke of Kelsey as she was growing up. Sometimes, Grandma Bernice would send pictures. We plan to see you on Wednesday. Take care! Aunt Marlene and Uncle Allen and Uncle Orlin and Aunt Pat
Sending our condolences and know that we will miss visiting with Gary, sharing our music and strategies for Husker Football. He and Bernice were always supportive of our performing and he came to hear us play music in the Lincoln area. He played piano, joined the church choir and enjoyed music and the piano work of Floyd Kramer and Country and 50’s Rock and Roll artists. He attended my Cowgirl Hall Of Fame Induction in Hereford Texas in 89′. Joan Wells (cousin) and Kris Simon (friend) (Lincoln, NE)
