Lorri and family,
I am sad that you lost your mother but I am happy she is no longer suffering. May God help you through this difficult time.
Mark
Sorry to hear about your Mom. Will say a prayer.
Dear Mother, we will miss you more than you know. You have inspired us to be good people and go the extra mile for all we are in contact with. We love you. Mark and family
Brother Bob and I offer our condolences to the family. Helen was an inspiration to me in many ways although I did not meet with her many times. My mother keep me informed. I know Helen was a great mother. Of course, Aunt Mabel was special. I remember playing pinochle with Aunt Mabel, Helen and my mother one time. I had a great time with such great fellowship.
Also, I remember Helen visiting with us in Southern Illinois around 1946. We went down to the Ohio River and my dad went with her on a ferry across to Kentucky.
God bless

Lorraine….So sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. I remember the get together at Pearl Methodist Church which I think was her 80th birthday. I always thought your Mom was so beautiful and always kind to me………………Janet Patterson Cool
Lorraine and Mark,
I have many great memories of your mother as we were growing up. She was a beautiful, charming lady and I thought of her often after I became a single Mom with three young children to raise. I remembered she was usually smiling and gracious as she was raising you and Mark, even when extra kids showed up at your house from down the street, or she was taking time to drive us all to school basketball games, or school when needed. Blessings to you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. Please be careful coming home. Roads are bad.
Lorraine and Mark,
I will not be with you Tuesday as you gather to remember your Mother. But, I always looked forward to visiting with her at the Gustafson Family Reunions. She was a very loving and gracious lady. Cousin Carlene
Lorraine, Mark and Family
Helen was always very kind and loving to our family. We always enjoyed spending time with her. She would always gave a big smile and hug. She will truly be missed.
Our thought and prayers are with you and the family. I feel like I knew her from all our walks together and conversations about her. I know you loved her dearly and were an awesome daughter that thought of her daily.
My prayers are with you and your family. A long time has passed since Hartman Street. “Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted.”. Matthew 5:4. I know how much my Mom thought of Helen. I am sure they are now catching up on old times in heaven.
