I want to express my dearest sympathies at Janet’s passing. We were good friends in gradeschool when she attended Lindsay Holy Family school. I remember playing at her house and the fun we had. I ran into her some years ago and she still had that lovely smile. She will be greatly missed.

Janet and I met in college and 30+ years later I can say that she truly enjoyed life! Not a conversation was had without her sharing her love for Amy, Brent, Kyle, grand kids, her family, and Darryl. So much laughter and memories….I feel overwhelmingly blessed to have her as my friend.

My prayer is that God will provide you with strength, guidance, and comfort.

My sincere condolences to all of Janet’s family. She will be greatly missed. I worked closely with Janet when I worked at HSS and always appreciated her dedication, honesty and compassion. I would like to share this Native American Prayer that has given me comfort in the past:
    “NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER”
I give you this one thought to keep –
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the sweet uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone –
I am with you still in each new dawn.

Sincere Sympathies to Janet’s family. Didn’t get back to Lincoln area often, but always seemed like I was bumping into Janet when we did get back there. We would share some laughs and talk about life in general. Even though I could tell she had been in a hurry, when we would see each other, she would take the time to talk and laugh. Our prayers are with all of you and my God grant you the comfort, strength, and guidance needed.

I knew Janet from mentoring her in dietetics at the Lincoln VA Medical Center. I ran into her sparingly over the years. This much I know. She loved her family. Thinking of her on the evening before she is buried. Rest easy, dear friend….
