Jean A. Carter, 92 of Ashland, NE passed away November 15, 2016 at the Hospice House in Omaha.  She was born July 14, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Betty Adams.  She graduated from high school in Chicago.  She married Charles “Max” Carter in 1942.

Jean was employed at Western Electric in Chicago, Goodyear in Lincoln, H&H Chevrolet in Omaha and Max Carter Photography in Ashland. She was a former member of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce and Ashland Country Club.

She is survived by her son, Charles Carter of Omaha and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Max” Carter and parents.
