I, as well as many students at AGHS will never forget Mrs. “C”….. During our high school days she was THE face of the office. It never seemed like she was having a bad day, even though years later, I now realize she put up with more stress and troubles in the school office than any of us realized. We always felt “seen” by Mrs. C, and you felt like you had someone in your corner just because you knew her. The Schofields send our love and prayers to Tom and the entire family as we celebrate a special life God created and yet mourn the loss of someone so special…….Until we see you again Mrs, C…..

Tom, I am so sorry to hear of Jo’s passing. You and Jo were very special to my husband, Chuck Smith. You made sure he had a ride to church when he lived at The Oxbow. He was very appreciative of all your gracious help. You and Jo were so kind to me when I would visit. Memories are always in our hearts, keep them of Jo in your heart.

Sorry for your loss. I remember the early years Jo joined our family. We got together often and had many enjoyable times. Too bad distance and, of course, time changed our ability to continue th0se gatherings. What a great lady. I will miss her smile and her wit!

    Tom and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. C was such a wonderful person, I remember when I was in High School I worked at the McDonald’s in Gretna during the Beanie Baby craziness, she would give me a pass to leave school to go get her happy meals in hopes of getting a Beanie Baby she didn’t have. Years later and I enjoyed seeing her around town. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched over the years.
