Joseph F. Kubista, 94 of Fremont, NE, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Saunders Care Center. He was born October 3, 1921 in Weston, NE to Joseph and Tillie (Pokorny) Kubista.

Joe moved to Wahoo in 1937 where he finished his last three years of school. He graduated from Wahoo High School in 1940. Joe was a World War II Army veteran and he was a member of the American Legion Post #82. Most of his employment was at the Nebraska Ordinance Plant and when it became the missile base. Joe was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the Saunders County Historical Society.

He is survived by nephew, Steven Dickerson of Kirkland, WA.

He was preceded in death by sister, Adele Dickerson; brother-in-law, Robert Dickerson; niece, Donna Miller.
