Joyce M. Cerv Kucera, 83 of Columbus, NE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on October 8, 2014. Joyce was born in Wahoo, NE, in 1931 to Henrietta and Henry Cerv and spent her childhood in Weston, NE and then North Bend, NE. She also lived in Greeley, CO, and most recently she resided in Columbus, NE.

Joyce is survived by her seven children: Greg Kucera of Arvada, CO; Gwen Jones of Bellevue, NE; Randy Kucera of Lincoln, NE; Becky Hamilton of Omaha, NE; Lindsay Kucera of Lincoln, NE; Rachelle Kucera Mehra of Torrington, CT, and Tami Prince of Seattle, WA; four sons-in-law: Stan Jones, Dan Hamilton, Achal Mehra, and John Prince; and two daughters-in-law: Kathy Kucera and Lana Kucera. She is also survived by her brother Bob Cerv and sister Bonnie Nelson and 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her parents and her sister Laverne Richardson preceded her in death.
