Juanita D. Discher 82 of Lincoln, passed away August 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 2, 1934 in Hooper, NE to Billie and Vera Long.

Juanita graduated from Sutton High School in 1952 and received a B.S. in Christian Education from St. Paul Bible College in 1955. Juanita was united in marriage on June 25, 1955 in Fremont, NE to Irving Discher. From this union four children were born.

Juanita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was member of First Free Church in Lincoln, a collector of cups and saucers, Lina Lu Plates and Department 56 villages.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Irving Discher; children, Pastor Randall (Deborah) Discher of Andover, MN, William (Jill) Discher of Blaine, MN, Timothy (Holly) Discher of Wahoo, NE; grandchildren, Cassondra (Luke) Vagle, Melissa Reeder, Stephen (Lindsay) Discher, David (Christy) Discher, Joshua (Emily) Discher, Gabriella (Zachariah) Leupold; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Diezel, Raven, Hayden, Lincoln, Triton, Coralie, Axel, Elladie, Lewis; sisters, Mary (Harold) Ehly, Carolyn Gilmore; brother-in-law, Richard (Linda) Discher.

Preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Vera Long; daughter, Ruth Discher.
