Kenneth was always a great man, the kind of man you only come across once in a life time! He was always amazing to his family, in the 18 years that I’ve known him, there isn’t a thing that he wouldn’t do for another human, Especially his family! I would just like to send my love and prayers to this wonderful family, who is suffering such a horrific loss! The world and all of our lives will forever be changed, without him in our lives, however he will remain eternally in our hearts! Rest in heaven papa!
Love always and forever, Kristy Troyer.

Kenneth, I will refer to him as Mr. Ed Troyer, my boss at the Military Property Book Office back in the 80’s. After Mr. Stan Doty retired then Mr. Troyer took the position. One of the finest men I knew. A great boss to work for and very dedicated to the Military Dept and the position he took charge of. I had the chance to talk with him recently and we had a nice long conversation about many topics. I was so lucky to have had him as a boss. I see he lived to be 90 years old. A good long life to a great man. I will always have great memories of him and to his family I send my condolences. Jim Jensen 1976-2000 Full time Property Book Office.

I had the privilege of serving with Mr. Troyer in the NEARNG as a co-worker, and then as my immediate supervisor in the Property Book Office. He was a great boss who cared for his people. We shared a cubicle at the front of our office space and he really enjoyed his cigars at the time when smoking was allowed in all buildings. I will always remember being invited to a party at his home in Ashland and the good times we all shared. Mr. Troyer will be missed by all that knew him. My condolences go out to his family.

Pop Troyer was the best. He was a friend and an inspiration to be a good person. He helped keep me on the straight and narrow side when I was young. Had many a meal at their home. Glad I got to share my life with him.

Louise, Nick, Vicky and Evan, you are in my thoughts and prayers since hearing this weekend of Ed’s passing. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather, for whom I had great affection, admiration and respect. My great grandfather Kenneth Ed Troyer-Holloran was a great man. And he always will be. He has been on my mind a lot and, it crushes me that I didn’t even say goodbye to him. It was a week before Christmas, we were waiting to see if he would be let out before Christmas. The start of my Christmas break. He was gone. I hope he knows that I love him with all my heart. Love Joseph Troyer of Omaha. I love you Papa.
