Leroy was one of the finest people I have ever met, always a smile, always a kind word, always willing to help out, always had humor especially when the Egr’s came to the station, but you need a sense of humor to deal with us!!!! There are some people you wish would stay and Leroy was one of them. You had a terrific brother, husband, father and grandfather, friend, and a faithful believer. I know me and my family send our care and prayers.

One of the finest men I ever met. He always had a warm smile and a firm handshake. He provided me with automotive advice along with other pearls of wisdom over the course of the past 30 years. I always felt welcome in his presence and will selfishly note his absence with sorrow, but I know his pain is gone and he is happier now. For those reasons, I will rejoice that his journey has ended. Rest In Peace, Mr. Konecky.

Further he will be missed by the RC Airplane community as he was a valued and contributing member to the Western RC Flyers. Leroy really enjoyed Radio Control flying, he had fun. Leroy had some great laughs, some big smiles, and fun times with our hobby and hobby community. We will miss him Greatly. His willingness to help anyone, to step up to any task, as he showed leadership by example. His passing will leave a hole in my heart, as I am proud to have called Leroy Konecky my friend.

The colleagues and friends of Leroy’s son, Tim, wish the family our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Tim’s father. While we did not have the privilege of knowing Leroy, we know him through our colleague and friend who amazes us with his curiosity, wonder, kindness and outstanding work. This is both a testament to the kind of person Leroy was and a living legacy. May God bless you with peace and sustain you in this time of inestimable loss.

Hi my name is Diane, my mom was Rosanne Konecky, Dale was her cousin. She married my dad, Richard Woita. Dad talked of Dale alot, I think he said that Dale introduced them and they danced and partied together when they were younger. Good memories. I was so sorry to see that his son had passed away. My prayers and blessing are with you all.
    God Bless!
