Lujean A. Olsen, 82 of Yutan, NE, died Monday, May 9, 2016 Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE.  She was born June 30, 1933 in Wahoo, NE to Cicero and Martha (Andersen) Wiedeman.  Lujean was raised in Wahoo and graduated from Wahoo High School in 1951.  In 1951, she married Willard Nichelson in Wahoo.  Willard and Lujean had two children: Donald Lee and Timothy John.  They later divorced.  In 1966, Lujean married David Olsen.  They lived on an acerage west of Yutan, NE for their entire lives together until David died in 2010.

In her earlier years, Lujean worked as a telephone operator in Wahoo and later she worked for Western Electric for 28 years until her retirement.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and snowmobiling.  She loved spending time with family and friends and she was happiest when she was surrounded by them.  She was a great cook and pie baker.  Lujean loved animals and had several beloved pets over the years that she loved to spoil.

She is survived by sons: Don (Wendy) Nichelson of Adell, WI and Tim (Patricia)     Nichelson of Ashland; step-daughter Jeanne Scott; grandchildren: Craig, Shane, Jason, Cortney, Keri, and Carly Nichelson; 4 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Karen Wiedeman, Beverly Wiedeman, Delores Perkins, and Sandy Phillips; brother-in-law Tom Olsen; aunt Edna Mumm; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by parents Cicero and Martha Wiedeman; husband David Olsen; brothers: Dale Wiedeman, Harley Wiedeman, and Ralph Wiedeman; and two infant sisters.
