Mark Wayne VanNorman, 53 of Wahoo, NE, passed away September 23, 2014 at his home in Wahoo. He was born July 21, 1961 in Wahoo to Clair and Elizabeth (Frana) VanNorman. Mark graduated from Wahoo High School in 1980 and then entered the U.S. Marines. He served his country for four years until he was honorably discharged in 1984. Through the years, Mark worked as a welder for several companies including Camaco in Columbus, Smeal Manufacturing in Snyder, and Omaha Steel. He loved the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, trapping, or camping.
Mark is survived by children, Samuel Ray (Jamie) VanNorman of Belle Fourche, SD, James Jay VanNorman of Iola, KS, Molly Marie (Keio) Bukovac of Lead, SD, Kayla VanNorman of Morse Bluff, NE; parents, Clair “Red” and Elizabeth “Liz” VanNorman of Morse Bluff, NE; sister, Claire M. Snow of Malmo; brothers, Sam (Shelley) VanNorman of Malmo and Jess (Pam) VanNorman of Wahoo; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mark was a good guy. Every time I was at the farm he was always giving me gifts of food or whatever. I called him a “gifter” for his generousity. He will be missed. Prayers to the family.
