Opal Marie Jardine, 82 of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Greenwood, NE, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at The Kensington in Beatrice, NE. Opal was born July 22, 1931 in Shelby, NE to Henry and Ella (Kumpf) Beebe. On August 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Billy Leonard Jardine in Shelby, NE. Opal was a past member of the Greenwood Methodist Church and is currently a member of St. Luke Methodist Church in Lincoln.
Opal was preceded in death by husband, Billy Jardine; parents, Henry and Ella Beebe; brother, Bud Beebe.
She is survived by children, Billie Jo (Mitch) Power, Terri Lin (John) Dageford, Kent Jardine, and Mark Jardine; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

I worked with Opal at Love Library, and was sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very talented lady, and seeing her artwork here made me smile! Peace.
