In Care of the Family for Future Designation
Pamela R. Kotera, 57, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She was born May 30, 1961 in David City, NE to Garry and Phyllis (Barry) Chelberg. Pam graduated from East Butler High School in 1979. On April 30, 1983, she was united in marriage to Les Kotera in Brainard, NE. Pam and her husband have owned and operated Security Home Bank in Malmo for over 20 years.
Pam was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping, traveling and exercising. Pam loved her puppies and she always loved entertaining for family and friends. She always enjoyed relaxing on the Platte River or boating and floating at the Lake of the Ozarks.
She is survived by husband of 35 years, Les Kotera; children, Alex Kotera and fiancé Kate McDermott and Melissa Kotera; mother, Phyllis Chelberg; brother, Scott (Debbie) Chelberg; many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Garry Chelberg; father-in-law, Ernest Kotera.

Pam will such a lovely person and friend. She will so missed. Heartbroken.
Rick and I are so saddened to hear about Pam. She was a wonderful person. Always fun to talk to and take our road trips for baseball to watch the boys play.
I am so sorry for your loss! Pam is one of the best people I ever knew. What a sweetheart! If there is anything I can do for your family please let me know! God holds her in his hands!

I can’t express how saddened I was to hear of Pam’s passing. She was such a beautiful soul, and always brought happiness to those around her. She will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to your family, and may God bring you peace in your time of need.
