Pauline Kubalek, 86 of Weston, NE, died April 9, 2015 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born November 6, 1928 in Kirchenbirk, Czechosolovika to Karl and Maria (Zuber) Kneissl. In 1954, Pauline was united in marriage to Richard Kubalek in Germany. Soon after Richard and Pauline were married they moved to Weston, NE to Richard’s family farm where they spent the rest of their lives together.

Pauline was a past member of the Presbyterian Church in Prague and a current member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wahoo. She was a member of the Weston American Legion Auxiliary. She was a woman with a strong German accent that loved baking, cooking, and caring for her flowers. She loved polka music and dancing. Pauline enjoyed her many trips back to Germany to visit her family and friends. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Richard Kubalek; daughter, Karen (Terry) Williamson of Omaha; granddaughters, Elizabeth (Chad) Seim of Omaha, Erin (Gary) Dewaele of Council Bluffs, IA, Joanna (Ryan) Zeilinger of Omaha, and Julia (John) Kurmel of Council Bluffs, IA; great-grandchildren, Jamie and Joey, Chloe and Gavin, Jaxon and Olivia; sister, Marianne (Marcus) Fecher of Germany; brothers, Franz (Gerdi) Kneissl of Germany and Helmut (Tradl) Kneissl of Germany; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Josef, Karl, Rudolf, Ottomar, Johann, and Edward Kneissl; and sisters, Elfreida Kneissl and Emma Flemister.
