He is survived by his wife Suzan (Klemm), sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Jana Kruce of Omaha, Wallace and Diana Kruce of North Aurora, IL, daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Kruce and Rod Cook of Sioux Falls, Rachel and Aaric Oolman of Colon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michael Jolliffe, Louise and Tim Runyan, Ellen Kruce and Douglas McGinnis, Hilary Kruce and Vince Signorile, Jane and Douglas Satree; brother and sister-in-law, Reed and Kim Kruce; grandchildren Norah Cook, Harrison Cook, Peter Kruce, Mary Kruce, James Kruce, Anna Kruce and Patrick Kruce.
Pete was born on Feb. 14, 1947 to Wallace and Ellen (Rasmussen) Kruce in Fremont. He was in the first graduating class from Bishop Neumann High School, attended Creighton University and the University Nebraska-Lincoln and received a degree in animal science.
On December 19, 1970 Pete married the love of his life Suzan (Klemm) at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Exeter. He lived his life as a devoted husband, father and friend. He travelled many miles, through many states to purchase cattle for his annual club calf sale, and he made many lifelong friends along the way.
