To Phil’s family – I’m so sorry for your loss! Phil was such a gem! I knew him many years ago from Wahoo One Stop. Phil was a quick witted, kind-hearted gentleman who challenged me to think differently and see situations from alternate points of view. He impacted many lives in a positive way. May you take comfort in the many wonderful memories you’ve made over the years! God bless you!

Sorry to hear about the passing of Phil. I knew him well as our paths crossed as probation officers. Phil was a friend to all. He will be missed. Imagine whom he has met – George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Mother Theresa, Neil Armstrong. When we look at the stars in the sky it is reflecting the number of people he will introduce us to some day. He has been reunited with many probation staff and they have much to discuss. When the sun is bright he is sending a message that Heaven is a grand place and he is doing just fine. He will be able to attend Husker games with Bob Devaney. Yes, he is in a good place. Think of him often, share stores and you will keep his memory alive. I am thinking of him just writing this note. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.
