Ruth E. Christensen, 94 of Ashland, NE, entered into rest on April 4, 2014 at Oxbow Living Center in Ashland, NE.  She was born August 9, 1919 in Omaha, NE to Charles and Blanche (McLean Ruey) Fassbender.  Ruth attended Omaha Central High School.  She worked as a cook for several years.  Ruth formerly lived at the Golden Manor Apartments.

She is survived by great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Emil Christensen; special friend of 34 years, Clifford Weaver.
