Sharon K. Jarrett, 67 of Wahoo, NE passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 12, 1950 in Auburn, NE to Morris E. and Laveta (Craiger) DeFreece.  She grew up in Auburn, NE and graduated from Auburn High School in 1968.  She was united in marriage to Ronald Dale Jarrett on December 31, 1988 in Nebraska City, NE.  Sharon worked for Insulfoam in Mead, NE before retiring.  She was a dog lover and enjoyed sipping her coffee “on the corner”.

Sharon is survived by her children, David Newton of Council Bluffs, IA, Sheila (Frank) Lindberg, Matt Newton, Amy Potter all of Omaha, NE, Roxanne (Mark) Meduna of Wahoo, NE, Vicki Reed of Council Bluffs, IA,  Debora (Glen) Wilcox of Wahoo, NE, Joyce (Robert Small) Jones of Claremore, OK, Eddie Jarrett of Nebraska City, NE, Tina Schneider of Omaha, NE, Ronnie (Veronica) Jarrett of Wahoo, NE and Mike (Brandi) Jarrett of Valentine, NE; grandchildren, Dave Newton, Jr., Dylan (Kelsee) Owens, Christian Owens, Bobbi Jo, Chloee Henner, Crystal (Brian) Burns, Casey Jones, Natasha Reed, Joel Reed, Phillip Reed, Taylor (Chad Jones) Iburg, Mason Schneider, Jacob Jarrett, Trinity Danielson, Crystal Severin, Jesse Meduna, Tiana (Austin Koch) Wilcox and Zach (Taylor) Grantski; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Cindy) DeFreece, George “Skip” (Rose) DeFreece, Larry (Patsy) DeFreece, Mary Lu (David) Young, Nancy Jo Hahn and Randy DeFreece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dale Jarrett; parents, Morris “Gene” and Laveta DeFreece and grandson, Brandon Jones.
