Therese A. Bouc, 71 of Ceresco, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2015 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born June 27, 1944 in David City, NE to Joseph and Rose (Polacek) Vrbka. Therese attended District 27 country school near Ulysses, NE, St. Mary’s in David City, and she graduated from David City Aquinas in 1962. On October 3, 1964, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Bouc at Immaculate Conception Church in Ulysses. Therese and Lawrence made their home on a farm northwest of Ceresco. Therese worked at UNL Housing for 23 years until she retired in 2009.

Therese was a member of Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso where she was active in the PCCW. She taught CCD classes and was involved with Marriage Encounter. She was a member of the FCSLA, Catholic Daughters, Extension Club, and the Red Hat Ladies. She always enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Gardening, flowers, Polka dancing with Lawrence, baking kolaches and cinnamon rolls, and her bluebirds were some of her favorite things.

She is survived by children, Kathy McIntosh of Lincoln, Karen (Tom) Dul of New Jersey, Cheryl (Patrick) Walla of Lincoln, Mark Bouc of Ceresco, and Jason (Cyndi) Bouc of Ceresco; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rolland (Carol) Vrbka of Valparaiso and Ray (JoAnn) Vrbka of Firth; sister, Judy (Pat) Osmera of Ulysses; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband of 43 years, Lawrence “Larry” Bouc; parents; brother, Donald Vrbka; nephews, David and Lyle Bouc.
