Vernor R. Bachman, 91, of Yuma, Arizona, formerly of Ashland, passed away February 21, 2018 in Yuma, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, LaVina Bachman; sister, Margaret Mason of Ashland; daughter, Cynthia Sucamele and husband Richard of Venice Fla.; stepson, Larry L. Davis and wife Mariana of Romania; grandchildren, Jeffrey Opsatnick, Anne Opsatnick, and Noelle Hedglin (children of Cindy), Sherry Skelton, Mark Davis and Jenny Murray, (children of Larry); stepson, Randy Kanuit and wife Sherry of Billings Mont.; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Mable Bachman; sister Iola Pearce; brother, Milton Bachman and his wife, Merry Bachman.

Vernor served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee.
