Wallace “Wally” M. Quick, 94, of Wahoo, NE, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Saunders Medical Center Long Term Care in Wahoo, NE. He was born December 8, 1924 in Ithaca, NE to Earl and Martha (Hageman) Quick. Wally attended school in Ithaca and graduated from Wahoo High School in 1942. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp until he was honorably discharged in 1947. On September 12, 1949, Wally was married to Alta Schiefelbein in Ithaca, NE. Alta passed away in 2008. Wally was married to Eva Schiaffino on December 12, 2009 in Wahoo, NE.
Wally was a lifelong farmer who loved his family and loved rural life. He was a member of Wahoo Community Church and VFW #4502. Wally was a choir member and a Boy Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed singing, fishing, hunting, gardening, flowers and bird watching.
He is survived by wife, Eva Quick; children, Mark (Kathy) Quick, Ralph (Christie) Quick, Craig (Cindy) Quick and Harvey (Cindy) Quick; grandchildren, Lindy, Jeff, Sara, Emily, Candice, Chelsea, Corinne, Crystal, Clayton, Colette and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Amy, David, Claire, Grace, Jayden, Isaac, Philomena, Felicity, Anastasia, Micah, Maxwell, Annabelle, Ella and Alira; sisters, Alice Eichmeier and Earline (Berneal) Warner; step-sons, Alex (Olivia) Dia-Lapham and Maurico (Susan) Dia-Lapham.
He was preceded in death by 1st wife, Alta Quick; brother-in-law, Milton Eichmeier.
Our Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. He will be missed. I am so thankful I was able to see all of you at his 90th birthday. Our sincere sympathies to all of you.

We are so sorry to hear of my great Uncle Wally’s passing.
I have such good memories of visiting Wally & Alta & cousins on the farm. Good food, lots of laughs, & hospitality! Thinking of you all & keeping you in my prayers.
