Dorothy passed away on January 4, 2017 in Cabot, Arkansas, at the age of 95.  She was born March 16, 1921 in Coin, Iowa to Wilbur and Fannie Pike.  Her family moved to Ashland, Nebraska when she was a child.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Marvin; sisters:  Hattie Young, Irene Alley, Rose Whitehead, Francis Jipp; brothers:  George Pike, David Pike, Pearl Pike, and baby brother Joseph Pike, and her beloved son-n-law Jerry Nelson.

Dorothy is survived by her daugthers:  Joyce Nelson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jean (Glenn) Cruchelow of Des Moines, Iowa.  Granddaughters:  Christie (Devon) Ballard, Corinne (Brad) Vogl, and Anne Cruchelow.  Great-grandchildren:  Amanda & Andrew Vogl, Ally & Gavin Ballard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
