John A. Clark, 66 of Ashland, NE, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his home in Ashland, NE.  He was born September 29, 1952 in Junction City, KS to Delmar and Jessie (Guthrie) Clark.  John graduated from Olathe High School in Olathe, KS.  He served his country in the U.S. Marines until he was honorably discharged.  On September 29, 1979, John was married to Gretchen L. Belcher in Ashland, NE.  He was a member of American Legion #129.

He is survived by daughters, Jodi Curtis of Ashland and Cynthia Clark of Fleming Island, FL; grandchildren, Kennedy Johnsen, Liam Curtis and Christopher John Chandler; brothers, Larry (Joanna) Clark of Burlington, KS and Lonnie (Beth) Clark of Junction City, KS.

He was preceded in death by wife, Gretchen Clark; grandson, Calvin Curtis; parents, Delmar and Jessie Clark.
