Virginia L. Box, 103 of Lincoln, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 7, 2023 in Lincoln. She was born February 2, 1920 in Lincoln to Lee and Mildred (Hall) Whitcomb. She was a graduate of College View High School in Lincoln. She was united in marriage to Perry Schneider on December 15, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK. From this union three sons were born, Gary, Larry, and Steven. Virginia worked at the Pentagon during WWII. After Perry’s passing in 1956 she married Milton Box on January 18, 1964 in Lincoln.
Virginia was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ashland.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Gary (Marlene King) Schneider and Steve (Nancy) Schneider both of Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Patricia Schneider of West Allis, WI; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mildred Whitcomb; husbands, Perry Schneider and Milton Box; son, Larry Schneider; brothers, Lee Jr. and Robert Whitcomb
Milton and Virginia were good neighbors. It was our honor to farm their land. Rest in peace Virginia. Bill and Sherry Farmer
