Adrian J. Rezac, 89, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 24, 2016 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo.  He was born on October 1, 1927 in Brainard, NE to Joseph and Sophie (Maly) Rezac.  Adrian attended rural grade school.  In 1945, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea for 18 months.  After his honorable discharge from the Army, he started farming near Brainard.  On May 1, 1950, he was married to Betty Walen and they had two children.  They moved to a farm near Wahoo in 1955.  In 1960, they moved to Wahoo where Adrian managed The 300 Bowl for several years.  In 1964, he and his wife and Joe and Marie Cherovsky built and operated The Star-Lite Ballroom until it was damaged by a storm in 1970.  Adrian worked at ARMCO from 1964 until his accident at work in 1981.  As a result, he was confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of his life.

Adrian was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church where he served as an Acolyte for 29 years.  He was a lifetime 55 year member of the VFW #4502 and a 50 year member of the American Legion Post #308.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #1833 where he was a past Grand Knight.

He is survived by wife of 66 years Betty Rezac; daughter Sr. Joyce Ann Rezac of Loveland, CO; son Fr. Keith Rezac of North Bend, NE; sisters-in-law: Emily Rezac, Martha Rezac, and Sally Rezac; brother-in-law Ted Coufal; and his adopted family: Curt and Vicki Bromm, Jason and Jen Bromm, Jolin, Bob, Sidney Jo, Sawyer, and Sloan Donahoo; Jenefer Bromm; Bruce, Kandace, and Kasyn Broussard, Jina, Mark, Della, Isabel, Ellie, and Lydia Leavitt, and Jaron, Michelle, Anna, Joseph, Elizabeth, Teresa, and Peter Bromm; and many nieces and nephews.
