Anita Marie (Knudsen) Gillespie, ago 90, of Ashland NE passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Omaha, NE, November 13, 1922 to Jens and Beda (Carlson) Knudsen. She lived most of her life in Ashland and Waverly, NE.

Survived by: son and daughter-in-law George (Nancy) Gillespie of Council Bluffs, IA; daughter and son-in-law Jeanne (Willie) Weisbrook of Lincoln, NE; granddaughters Stacy (Jon) Hughes and great-granddaughter Hannah Marie of Atlanta, GA, Robyn (Rick) Foster of St. Charles, MO, Amy (John) Fenton of Red Oak, TX; sister Margot Atwood of Casper, WY, former husband, Ralph of Sun City, AZ., and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Knudsen, sister and brother-in-law, Opal (Ken) Bain.
