Barry-You are my best friend. We shared a true love of the Huskers. You & Helen & Sue & I had a lot of good times playing pitch & shuffle board.Remember the baby ruth candy bars. Your little joke with Sue! We also had a genuine love of hunting. I’m sorry that I never told you how much you meant to me. You were more of a brother to me than my own brothers! I love you. RIP & we will meet again some day! Rodger Vorderstrasse

Barry was my first real love in High School at Lincoln NE, but circumstances led apart. I will always remember how wonderful a gentleman he was and so very intelligent. I was sad to hear of his passing but, happy that he had a long and happy life with his wife, children and grandchildren.
    Rest In Peace, Barry!
