I have only known Bernie for a few years at Mahoney State Park… he was always so friendly and generous… he would always bring things from his garden and share with all of us… He had just told me of how much sweet corn they had just put up…. he was always so proud of his garden… I will miss seeing him on his mower everyday….

Bernie was a good friend. His work ethic on the football field was inspirational. That same ethic was evident in all that he did. He was an example for good Christian living. Rest in peace, good friend.
