Bradley “Brad” E. Buckingham, 73, of Ashland, NE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE with his family by his side. He was born December 29, 1950 in Lincoln, NE to Benjamin and Mildred (Hraban) Buckingham. On March 17, 1984, Brad married Joyce in Colorado. Brad worked for 42 years at SAPP Bros. He worked as a general manager before he retired on March 1, 2016.
Brad’s favorite pastime was going to all his great-grandchildren’s sports activities, which he enjoyed very much. He loved to travel to many destinations, and he enjoyed wintering in Arizona with his family. Brad liked to play pranks on everyone, especially his sister Cindy, and his brother Rick would usually join in on the prank.
He is survived by wife of 40 years, Joyce; children, Christopher (Sarah), Gidget (Richard); step-children, Marty (Bridget), Kim (Tony), Tammy (Steve) and Donnie; siblings, Rick (Charlotte), Cindy (Scott) and Mark (Eleanor); uncle, Bob (Barb); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Millie.

Joyce and family we are so very sorry to hear of Brad’s passing. He was always in our thoughts and prayers. Brad was a kind and friendly person who will be missed by many. Our love and prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Joyce and family, I am saddened to hear our dear friend Brad Buckingham has passed away. Brad was not only a great customer, but an even better friend. DAS and myself learned a great deal from Brad in the Travel Center Industry.
