Carolyn A. Stanislav 67 of Prague, NE entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  She was born September 24, 1949 in Fremont, NE to Richard and Georgia (Musilek) Shimerka.  Carolyn graduated from Prague High School in 1967.

She worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant with Butler County Physical Therapy.  In her earlier years she worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Revenue in Lincoln, managed bean walking crews and cleaned houses in the area.  She also was an EMT for the Prague Volunteer Fire Department.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Prague, Women’s League and the Bubba Club.

Carolyn’s pride and joy was her granddaughter, Adyson and her love for life was gardening.  She enjoyed antiquing, frequenting garage sales and craft fairs.  She was a proud philanthropist and a huge supporter for the Pink Bandana Inc.  She was known as Momma Stanislav to many. She loved to host and entertain anyone who walked through her door, it was open to everyone.  She was a true mom who loved her family and friends dearly.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Jeremy Stanislav of Omaha, Danielle Stanislav of Prague, Justin (Mallorie) Stanislav of Wahoo; granddaughter, Adyson Kadlec; brother, Rick (Gail) Shimerka of Redmond, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Cambri Kadlec.
