Connie Iola Freeman, 76 of Mead, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE.  She was born June 3, 1939 in Omaha, NE to Carl and Beulah (Sickler) Marino.  Connie attended school in Broken Bow, NE.  On November 17, 1973, she was married to Dale Freeman in Lincoln, NE.

Connie was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mead, NE.  She loved her precious little dogs, going to garage sales, and visiting with her close friends and family whom visited her often.  Through the years, she cared for many elderly people through home healthcare.  Those that knew her, would remember her gift of embellishing stories.  Connie’s grandchildren were the world to her and she enjoyed every minute she spent with them.

She is survived by husband of 42 years Dale Freeman; children: Dan (Sheri) Freeman of Wahoo, Micki Novak of Wahoo, Deb (Jeff) Randall of Omaha, Kim (Carl) Walker of Navarre, FL, and Karen (Gary) Roenneburg of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren: Starr (Ashley) Meneely, Ben (Misty) Ruzicka, Will (Gabriela) Ruzicka, Mark (Leila) Ruzicka, Rebekah Ruzicka, Grace Ruzicka, Avery Freeman, Olivia Freeman, Connor Freeman, Quinn Freeman, John (Leah) Harden, Ronnie Novak, Richard (Amy) Novak, Michelle (James) O’Brien, Sherri (Aaron) Seamann, Matthew Roenneburg, and Jeremy Roenneburg; 8 great-grandchildren; brother John (Mary) Sickler of Kearney, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Debbie Ruzicka , brother Tom Sickler, and son-in-law Kenny Novak.
