Donna J. Hansen, 56 of Fremont, NE, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at her home in Fremont. She was born December 12, 1959 in Omaha, NE to Donald and Helen (Marshalek) Ruzicka. Donna graduated from Mead High School in 1978. She loved playing her guitar, art, and all animals. Donna was also a Master Angler fisherman.
She is survived by son Thomas “Pete” Hansen of Fremont; mother Helen Ruzicka of Colon; sister Pam (Rich) Goudie of Elmwood; brother Doug Ruzicka of Illinois; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by father Donald Ruzicka; infant sister Beverly Ruzicka; and infant brother Glenn Ruzicka.
I knew Donna years ago at Omaha and Arlington. What a dear and sensitive person she was who was determined to see life through the maize of things too difficult to understand. She didn’t ask for much more than the love we all need, but which is sometimes not quite enough. Her deep spirituality moved all who discovered it. May she be received into the Lord’s everlasting arms.
