Elaine Lois Stoupa, 86, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, NE. She was born March 30, 1938 in Morse Bluff, NE to Louis and Gustie (Mach) Franta. Elaine graduated from Prague High School in 1955. On September 22, 1959, she was united in marriage to Raymond Stoupa at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague, NE. Elaine worked for Max’s Drug Store for 8 years before starting a 22 year career with Wahoo Public Schools at the West Ward Elementary.
Elaine was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo where she was active in the St. Ludmilla’s Guild serving as the secretary for many years. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother #246, she volunteered at Saunders Medical Center LTC and she was a member of the American Legion Post #82 Auxiliary.
She is survived by children, Raymond (Kay) Stoupa of Omaha, Robert Stoupa of Omaha and Ronald (Chandra) Stoupa of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Samantha Stoupa, Alex Stoupa, Brooklynn Stoupa and Sara Stoupa; sister, Bonnie (Norris) Fujan of Lincoln; many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stoupa; parents, Louis and Gustie Franta.
Our deep & sincere sympathy to you Bonnie in your sisters passing. May the fond memories you have be a comfort to you during this sad time. She was a very sweet person, Our thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.

We fondly remember Elaine through the years at Wahoo Public Schools. Very outgoing, always smiling and a person you just loved to talk to. Our thoughts are with her three sons.
So sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

I fondly remember Elaine as an aid at West Ward Elementary. She was always smiling and so very friendly. In later years, we would enjoy visiting and catching up whenever we saw each other. My deepest sympathy to Elaine’s family, especially her wonderful sons.
