She was preceded in death by husband Louis Hauschild; son Terry Hauschild; parents Alva and Ethel Ziegenbein; special friend Art Laughlin; one sister and two brothers.
She was a great lady. She was my Den Mother in Cub Scouts and a woman I could go to if I had any problems. Always a smile and telling me to “Be Good”. She will be missed by all in her life.
Sorry to hear about your mom, Debbie. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Sorry to hear about your Mom Marilyn. Keeping you and your beautiful family in our prayers.
Fern was a very special lady to the Ashland community. I have so many fond memories of her growing up with the Hauschild and Boston girls in school. My most recent memory was when I started cooking at Oxbow. The surprise on my face and pure joy when I saw that Fern lived there. I chatted with her everyday and made sure I could do whatever I could for her. She spent so many years and countless hours taking care of the kids that were friends with her kids, that I felt very special to be able to be there for her as she settled in the Oxbow community.
I will greatly miss her and that genuine heart felt smile that seemed to be endlessly on her face. My condolences to her entire family. You were all so blessed to have her as your family.

Even though I didn’t personally know Fern, I feel as though I did. She raised an amazing daughter (Deb Akers). My condolences to all of her daughters and extended family.
So sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. Aunt Fern was always very special to Larry. Sorry that I won’t be able to attend the service. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Our sincere sympathy to Fern’s family! A special lady who will be missed by all.
So sorry for your loss.
