Grace L. Kreizel, 79 of Wahoo, NE, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born February 25, 1936 at home in Valley, NE to William and Verna (Nelson) Moser. She spent half of her life in the Mead area and the latter half in Wahoo.

Grace graudated from Mead High School. On June 29, 1954, she was married to Cliff Kreizel Jr. in Mead. She spent her working years as a cook supervisor for the county for 35 years, including the hospital, Care Center, and Wahoo Senior Diner. She attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln, where she received her Food Service Supervisor Diploma and a Dietician Assistant License in 1977. She retired in March of 2004. Her top priorities in her life were her family and her church. She was a former member of the Mead Covenant Church, and at the time of her death, a member of Wahoo Community Church. During her lifetime she participated in the church choir, taught Sunday school, was involved in Woman’s Ministry, AWANA, and held numerous leadership positions.

She is survived by daughter Verna (Charles) Rezac of Wahoo; son Clifford III (Julie) Kreizel of Lincoln; grandchildren: Patrick Rezac of Billerica, MA, Megan (Daniel) Meyer of Millard, Linzie, Logan, and Lexie Kreizel of Lincoln; great-grandchildren: Mason, Kale, and Callie Meyer; sister Barbara (David) Votaw of Holdrege; brothers-in-law: Roland Rasmussen of Fremont and Daniel Johnson of Eldon, MO.

She was preceded in death by husband Clifford Kreizel; parents William and Verna Moser; sisters: Virginia Rasmussen and Sharon Johnson; grandchild Jamie Rezac.
