Gregory L. Wright, 61, of Greenwood, NE died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, NE.
Gregory was born on December 9, 1954 to Aaron and Genevieve Wright in Lincoln. He belonged to the Greenwood Christian Church. Gregory enjoyed mowing, fixing lawn mowers, listening to music, being outside, walking uptown to get the mail, bicycle riding, and watching the Nebraska Cornhusker teams and television shows; particularly Archie, the Three Stooges, and the Riflemen. He had a strong memory of people he met and encountered. Gregory loved his dog, the Christmas holiday, and above all he cherished his family.
He was survived by his mother, Genevieve Wright of Greenwood; sister, Jan DeGarmo of Greenwood; nephews, Rick and Alison Wright, Jason and Shawna Wright, and Alex DeGarmo; nieces, Rhonda and Cicero Calderon, and Vicki and Bob Brown; great nieces and nephews, Joshua, Elizabeth, Aaron, Grace, and A.J.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Wright, and brother, Gene Wright.
I am thinking of you during this difficult time. May God comfort you in the days ahead as Romans 15:5 says He supplies comfort and endurance. My deepest sympathies to the family of Gregory.
