Jesse Boller, 64 of Ashland, NE, entered into rest on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born August 19, 1950 in Lincoln to Ashley and Grace (Whitlatch) Boller. Jesse graduated from Ashland High School in 1968. For over 42 years, he worked for Schneider Electric, formerly Square D, as a maintenance machinist. On February 9, 1971, Jesse was married to Carol Linden in Lincoln.
Jesse was a devoted husband, proud dad and grandfather, and a good friend to many. He was always quick to tell a joke and always ready to help a friend. He was an excellent craftsman and he could fix anything. He always enjoyed his time riding in his “zoom, zoom” with Carol. Jesse was a founding member of Mid-States Antique Tractor and Engine Club and he was a founding member and officer of Rumely Products Collectors. He was an avid tractor and memorabilia collector. Jesse and his family lived in Eagle for 28 years and he served on the Eagle Village Board for 10 years.
He is survived by wife of 43 years, Carol Boller; children, Alicia (Aaron) Williamson of Lincoln and Ashley (Nick) Heitman of Davey; grandchildren, Owen Williamson, Brody Heitman, and JessePaul Heitman; brother, Eddy (Lois) Boller of Springfield; sister, Beth (Gary) Love of Ashland; aunt, Ruth Abbott of Lincoln; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Loren Boller.
Pastor Scott Porath will be officiating the service.
Jess was a long time true friend. I will miss his unique outlook on life.
He will be missed. So sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there but medical issues will prevent me.
So sorry to hear about Jesse. One of a kind. He will be missed greatly and we are very glad we were able to meet him, work with him and have fun with him through the years. Time sometimes is unfair and makes no sense. He is now driving and playing with tractors with his Dad, Mom and brother. Mid States wont ever be the same, but he will still be with us having fun. He will always remain close to us and will only be a thought and memory in our hearts. Til we meet again buddy. Thoughts hugs and prayers to his family.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Aunt Carol, Alicia, Ashley, and families. Heaven will receive him with open arms. Jesse was a good man!
Carol and family,
Laura and I want to send our heartfelt condolences to all of you. We always enjoyed visiting with Jess (and Carol) at the Rumely gatherings. Undoubtedly he will be greatly missed. Rumely Products Collectors will be forever grateful for his efforts and support. Rest in Peace, Jess.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. (Glenn’s daughter)
I cared for Jesse for short while and he remembered me by chocolate caramel perfume 🙂 when I first that was first thing he said was chocolate. The last time I spent time with him in the hospital before he passed he recognized me not by sight but my smell. He will be forever remembered in my heart. I was blessed to have known him and his family for the the time GOD allowed…. <3 shhuhus
Carol, and Girls
So sorry to hear of the passing of Jesse, he was a great guy, and will have fond memories, at Camp Creek, and him helping with the tractor pulls for Eagle Days. Cherish all the wonderful memories you have of him. Thinking of you in the time of sorry.
To Jesse’s family,
Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to your family. We enjoyed visiting with Jesse at the Mid States show this last year. Although we did not know him well he exuded a passion for life, his family, and his tractors. May the Lord hold you up during this time of loss.
Carol and family, We were so sad to read about Jesse in the paper. We met Jesse when he was 14 and have always enjoyed him so much! We had not seen Jesse for quite a while. We used to see Jesse and Carol at Cracker Barrel. With all our love and sympathy Lyle and Rosemary Hunt
Carol and Family,
Jess was our champion of Rumely History with his collection of Rumely/La Porte Postcards. Jess was always a cheerful, and interested addition to our La Porte Reunions. Jess with Carol faithfully attended our La Porte Reunions for over 30 years.
Jess’s cheerful soul will be greatly missed.
With Deepest Sympathy,

Ashey – You and your family have my deepest heartfelt condolences for your loss. You and your father have a special bond. and even though he’s gone, that bond will never be broken. Keep the faith strong and know that this is only “see you later” and not good bye. Love to all your family!
Good journey, my brother.
I miss you every day Jess. I miss your jokes and your bright outlook on everything. I probably got you into more “projects” than you ever thought a son in law could but you were always ready to help with a smile. You fought a good fight. I guess God needed a handyman, jokester and friend. He now has the best. Love you.
