Kathryn J. Hansson entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Memphis, NE.  She was born in Omaha, NE to S. Paul and Mary (McMillan) Kriebs.  Kathryn was a graduate of Benson High School and Creighton University.  She also attended Iowa University and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  She was a teacher for many years at Wahoo High School and she was a substitute teacher at Bishop Neumann for many years after retirement.  Kathryn was a parishioner of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

Kathryn was preceded in death by husband of 67 years, Wallace Hansson; granddaughter, Tracy Otte; parents, S. Paul and Mary Kriebs.

She is survived by son, David (Fran) Hansson; daughter, Lynn (Mike) Otte; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

    Dave and Lynn, my heart is with you. Your Mother was one of the finest educators I have known and in my experience. I am so happy I had an opportunity to see her and visit with her at a wedding reception a while back..It was truly a memory lane conversation. God be with you. Neal L. Keiser
