In care of the family for future designations.

Linda of rural Greenwood, NE was one of three daughters, born to Virginia “Von” Rainey in Kansas City, MO. She passed away peacefully at home with her loyal husband and soulmate, along with her constant companions, Toby and Bruno at her side. Linda was the mother of two sons, who she loved endlessly despite their never-ending persistency at giving her a run for her money. Together her boys gave her 7 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. They were the light of her life, she loved them fiercely and forever will.

Linda’s love for her sisters was fun, witty, loyal, and protective.

She was a friend to many, having a unique bond with each of them and a sister-friend to a special few who together were the epitome of “besties.”

Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed the daily opportunity to join her co-workers on the dock of Parker Hannifin. They all brought joy and happiness to her working years.

Beyond family and friends, Linda cherished life on the farm, camping, beach vacations, going to the casino, sharing her opinion on politics, and just being home-sweet-home putting together puzzles in her pajama’s.

Linda enjoyed life on Earth to the fullest and lived it without regret.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia “Von” Rainey and father, Roy Rainey; sister, Jacqueline Chambers; father-in-law, Earl Brauckmuller; mother-in-law, Helen “Betty” Brauckmuller; sister-in-law, Julie (Brauckmuller) Liewer.

We will remember her for the fun she had at Bonco. We knew her for a while and will think of her memory every time we play.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. Even though I didn’t get to spend a great deal of time with her, I remember how she always made me feel safe and happy as a child. I only saw her a few times as an adult and I always wanted to see everyone more than I actually got to.
I will share this sad news with my sister Joyce Robinson. They were great friends as kids and she has continually asked me for news of the “Keim” cousins.
I will miss you Linda and I’ll look forward to seeing you, Jackie, Aunt Von, my Dad, sister Kim, my baby sister Rhonda Keim, Grandma & Grandpa, Donny and Ray, Uncle Benny, Uncle Jim and my Son Martin. I love you all.
