Linda of rural Greenwood, NE was one of three daughters, born to Virginia “Von” Rainey in Kansas City, MO. She passed away peacefully at home with her loyal husband and soulmate, along with her constant companions, Toby and Bruno at her side. Linda was the mother of two sons, who she loved endlessly despite their never-ending persistency at giving her a run for her money. Together her boys gave her 7 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. They were the light of her life, she loved them fiercely and forever will.
Linda’s love for her sisters was fun, witty, loyal, and protective.
She was a friend to many, having a unique bond with each of them and a sister-friend to a special few who together were the epitome of “besties.”
Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed the daily opportunity to join her co-workers on the dock of Parker Hannifin. They all brought joy and happiness to her working years.
Beyond family and friends, Linda cherished life on the farm, camping, beach vacations, going to the casino, sharing her opinion on politics, and just being home-sweet-home putting together puzzles in her pajama’s.
Linda enjoyed life on Earth to the fullest and lived it without regret.
