Lynn E. Peterson, 72 of Ashland, NE passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.  He was born June 25, 1951 in Lincoln, NE to Warren and Lois (Judds) Peterson.  He attended Schuyler High School and graduated from McCook High School in 1969. He received a Civil Engineering degree from Metro Community College.  He ran Peterson Photography studio in McCook, NE in the early 70’s.  Lynn worked as a correction officer in Tecumseh, Omaha, and Lincoln.  He was united in marriage to Ginny Beckman on January 28, 1995.

He enjoyed snow skiing, house projects and working on his Toyota truck but most of all he had a passion for photography.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Ginny Peterson; children, Allen (Tiffany) Beckman, Nicole Peterson, Winry Peterson and Olivia (Michael) Welch; six grandchildren; siblings, Steve (Sandy) Peterson, Jan (Lee) Stout and Mary (Brody) Choy; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Peterson Paden; father, Warren Peterson.
