Marcia R. Anderson, 83 of Tekamah, NE formerly of Ashland, NE passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home in Tekamah, NE. She was born September 4, 1940 in York, NE to Forrest and Jeanette (Rudeen) Johnson. When she was six months old her family moved to Omaha where she attended grade and high school and lived there until 1975 before moving her three children to Ashland. She worked at Linoma Beach for 10 years, Buck’s Place and Fran’s before working at the Shed in Gretna, then the Flying J Travel Center before retiring.
She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, attending junk jaunt, and spending time with her family.
Marcia is survived by her children, Dave and friend, Julie of Omaha, Rick and wife, Trista of Watertown, MN, Kathy and friend, Paul of Tekamah, NE; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Jeanette Johnson; great-granddaughter Addisyn Pfeifer.
I I was very sad to hear of your mother‘s passing. My prayers are with all of you God bless.
