Margaret E. Otto, 88 of Ceresco, NE, entered into rest on Friday, May 16, 2014 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, NE.  She was born October 25, 1925 in Cedar Bluffs, NE to William and Clara (Jensen) Hauschild.  Margaret grew-up and attended school in the Ashland area.

On September 25, 1955, she was united in marriage to William Otto at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Ithaca, NE.  Through the years, she helped on the farm and cared for her family and for several years she worked concessions at Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Margaret was a wife, mother, and grandmother that loved attending her grandchildren’s activities.  She loved cooking and baking and always enjoyed a good garage sale.  She loved life on the farm.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ithaca, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by children, Jerry (Cindy) Otto of Ceresco, Gary (Michelle) Otto of Ceresco, and LuAnn (Brad) Richard of Ceresco; grandchildren, Mike Richard, Stacey (Mike) Sanders, Megan Richard, and Elizabeth Otto; sister-in-law, Fern Hauschild; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, William Otto; brothers, John Hauschild, Irvin Hauschild, Louie Hauschild, and Raymond Hauschild; sisters, Irene Campbell and Mabel Mills.
