Margy L. (Hilfiker) Yardley, 87 of Ashland, NE, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Gracepoint in Lincoln, NE.  She was born October 28, 1928 in Osmond, NE to Roy and Kathleen (McCabe) Hilfiker. Margy graduated from Ashland High School in 1946.

On May 16, 1953, she was married to Donle Yardley at her parents’ home in Ashland.  Through the years, Margy worked for the Mead Ordnance Plant, Bankers Life of Nebraska, State of Nebraska in the State Capitol, Bert Spearman Insurance, and Pure Water Inc.  She was a member of life long First Congregational Church in Ashland where she and Donle served in many capacities.

She is survived by husband of 62 years Donle Yardley; children: Lora (Jack Wyant) Yardley, Sidney Yardley, Mary Osborne, Owen (Laurie) Yardley, Lisa Yardley, and Roy (Julie) Yardley; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Roy L. and Kathleen Hilfiker; brothers: Everette Hilfiker and Harlan Hilfiker; sisters: Sara Ann Gohr and Chirile Lee Breemes; infant granddaughter Elizabeth Yardley; sons-in-law: Ron Osborne and Ken Cauble.

    I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Please take notice of the promise at Acts 24:15, which says that there is going to be a resurrection. For this work, God longs to do it. (Job 14:14, 15) May these scriptures bring you a measure of comfort in your time of mourning.
