Mary Louise McCune, 70, of Ashland, NE, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home in Ashland, NE.  She was born November 13, 1953 in Omaha, NE to Joseph and Patricia (Hunsaker) Estey.  Mary graduated from Westside High School in Omaha, NE.  She was married to Bradley Pfeiffer and they had two children: Steven and Maureen.  They later divorced.  On April 22, 2006, Mary was married to Dennis McCune in Wahoo, NE.

She is survived by husband, Dennis McCune; children, Steven (Becky) Pfeiffer and Maureen Pfeiffer; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Hayley and Brandon Pfeiffer; siblings, John (Rosemary) Estey, James (Karla) Estey, William (Mary Kay) Estey, Kathryn (Kenneth) Broz, Patricia (James) Baier, Denise (Mark) Kepford; Mark Estey, Joyce (Steve) Bogatz, Barbara Yunker and Kellie Alley; brother-in-law, David Abercrombie; many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Patricia Estey; sister, Betsy Abercrombie; brother-in-law, Walter Yunker.

    Mary was a wonderful woman; I always enjoyed her sense of humor and easy laughter. She was always very generous as well and showed genuine concern for others.
